The Resurrection Airmen, based in Southwick, MA, perform classic South Texas Swing, emphasizing tunes from Bob Wills to George Strait great for two stepping, line dancing and waltzing. The Airmen head for the hills to pick a little bluegrass with Bill Monroe and Flatt and Scrugs. The band features high lonesome harmonies, five string banjo, resophonic guitar, pedal steel, standard guitar, stand-up bass, fiddle, and drums with a heap of down home country humor on the side.
Resurrection Airmen shows are always fun and suitable for all ages.
The Airmen are the host band for the Pioneer Valley Pickers and Grinners Country Music Jamboree held the fourth Saturday of every month in Southwick Mass.
